Buying Behavioral Shift of consumers During The Ramadan 2022 In UAE

 The major shift in the buying pattern of consumers can be seen in the second phase of covid-19 as they started to grab the situation and has shifted from offline shopping to online shopping.

70-80% Of the relail stores are affected with zero in store shopping.

UAE, being one of the major shopping hub across has already in the top of the list of countries that behold the e commerce tag, but this time it has surpassed the penetration rate of users by 90% as compared to that in UK.

The Major categories which are sold are Medical gear, Health and Beauty products, Nutrition based products and Food and beverages.


Hence there is a shift in terms of arranging the products and category in an e commerce portal as they have introduced a different section for Covid-19 essential category, and as per the traffic is concern most of the traffic are on these essential related products and daily usable items.


Offices and educational sectors are all closed as most of them have started to do work from home so there is a tremendous increase in the sale Home & Furniture category and apart from that home Improvement products has shown around 60-70% Of the sale during the period of second and third phase of Covid-19.

so hoping that after this Covid-19 there will be the time when both shops online and offline will run simultaneously and thus brings a variety of products and category at consumers plate.
